So, whenever it was... a couple weeks ago... whatever... Jon and I went to the Bite of Las Vegas. I was pumped because I hadn't been to any kind of concert in a while. Anyhow, it was okay. Not as cool as Washington ones because there was only one large stage, but here are some of the pictures we took. I think the main thing is the food but I was more interested in the music and I ended up only sharing this BBQ pork stuff with Jon. Umm... who's in these pics.
The people we're with are Megan, Brandon, and Damaris, some friends of ours. We actually went with Jen and Cody, and their roommate but they ended up leaving after the first act. =o( We're hanging with them tonight though so it's okay.. actually all of them since it's Halloween. I'll take my camera and get some photos. I'm going as a hippie and Jon's a construction worker.
Katherine McPhee - I felt bad for her because it didn't seem like many people were interested... It was like a poor side show. She asked us to wave and no one did... I was tempted to so she wouldn't feel bad. But I think a ton of people got her autograph afterward so she probably doesn't feel that bad.
This was Parachute. I actually really liked them. They're pretty rad!
After that was Uncle Kracker. He tore it up!!! He did a ton of his songs, some songs he wrote with Kid Rock and a ton of old school, which was pretty rad. After that was Blue October and Train, however, Train cancelled out which kind of sucked since they were the whole reason I got tickets in the first place. But we ended up ditching out before Blue October came on. We were tired... it was kind of hot out there and it was wearing us out. We're getting old. Only if they had planned it for a week later... it would have been more bearable. Anyhow, good times, good times.
